Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited when using the Angat platform and related services (the "Service"), operated by Easycom Japan Philippines Inc. This AUP is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all users of the Service.
2. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Service to engage in any of the following:
2.1 Illegal Conduct
- Any activity that violates Philippine law, the laws of any other applicable jurisdiction, or any binding regulation;
- Storing or processing personal data without proper legal basis under the Data Privacy Act of 2012;
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or activities prohibited under the Anti-Money Laundering Act;
- Tax evasion or facilitating the evasion of tax obligations.
2.2 Security Violations
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems;
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Service without prior written authorization;
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass authentication, rate limits, or other security mechanisms;
- Introducing malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code;
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service.
2.3 Abuse and Harmful Content
- Uploading content that is defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of others;
- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating any individual, including employees whose data is processed through the Service;
- Using the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam);
- Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation.
2.4 Resource Abuse
- Excessive use of platform resources beyond reasonable patterns associated with your subscription;
- Use of automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Service in ways not permitted by our API documentation;
- Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting the Service except as expressly permitted in writing.
2.5 Restricted Industries and Use Cases
The Service may not be used to support businesses or activities that are unlawful in the Philippines, including unlicensed gambling operations, unlicensed financial services, illegal drug operations, or any business operating without required Philippine government permits.
3. Customer Responsibilities
As an Angat customer, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring that all of your authorized users comply with this AUP;
- Obtaining all necessary consents from employees and other data subjects whose information you upload;
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials;
- Promptly reporting any suspected security incident or unauthorized use of your account.

We treat all reports confidentially and investigate them in good faith.
5. Enforcement
Violation of this AUP may result in:
- A written warning and request for corrective action;
- Immediate suspension of access to the Service;
- Termination of your subscription without refund;
- Notification to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law;
- Civil action to recover damages.
We may take action without prior notice where, in our reasonable judgment, immediate action is necessary to prevent harm to the Service, other users, or third parties.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
